Yes COBol is used only in large firms where there are mainframes as its coding is very big though coding is big its one of the easiest and easy to debug too software where as Pascal its not used much as C which has almost same syntax and semantics is very popular has replaced it even FORTRan is very rarely used such is the popularity of C...

very true periamma. I too have experienced somewhat similar thing in my pg. The paper which i was very confident of scoring high marks gave me the unexpectedly low marks and the one I found tough got me nice scores. ha.ha.a....

good that you utilised the opportunity came your way. for many the interest to learn die due to their family priorities or if they feel they have achieved something and nothing more to do. For some those who have interest will not have the facility. those who have facility lack interst. ah.ah.a
