drinking habit is good or bad??

@poovai -were you against drunkard type behavior (or over drinking), or just against mild social drinking also, so you didn't let those guys?

 

Just, I don't allow alcohol in my house. Usually, these type of drink buddies/crowd eat late, play cards or watch 'noisy' sports and stay way past mid-night that I don't approve. This affects our weekend activities, family time and my personal space/time.

 

@poovai - your stand is 100 % right. nothing harm and hurt to disclose your views. this is our opinion we will never force them to follow us.

If you feel it is fine, please bring this topic when he is in a good mood. Try explaining that you are not comfortable with it. Also put forward the point that today he might drink once in a month.. tomorrow when friendship deepens it can increase and you would not like it to get to that stage.

Be Patient but make your dislike known. He will surely understand.
Personally I feel alcohol is no good thing with benefits that we have to think so much about it. It is addictive, so better try to limit as much as possible.

 

Drinking in moderation is not bad. infact it has lot of health benefits.

It is like having coffee or soda or sweets. Anything more than a limit is gonna hurt you.

Drinking is sin, is immoral, they are saying people lose their sense when they drink and do senseless things , oh my god, already human life is short, why shorten it further, child also drinking now-a-days, oh god, culture gone to the dogs, this country culture what happened, Modi save us and blah.

Liberals:

booze is so relaxing, life's so stressful these days, a drink or two really helps, what am i conserving anyway- life's short and let the day be lived. I don't want to be seen so filled to the brim with 'conservative' ideas, refined, finer tastes of life, blah, blah.

People can pick one side which suits them and stop criticizing the other.
