How about taking womens horlicks??.. I just checked their nutrition fact label, it says iron(60%).. I havent had it so far but i am planning to get one pack. First I have to figure out its availablity in US.
I think you can try it out as well.

Thanks for the suggestion .. but I am lactose intolerant,I couldn't have milk after I crossed age 10.
So Horlicks is ruled out for me .

Also I find it difficult to trust anything packaged and don't trust any labels.
So I am searching for nutrients in natural foods which can be cooked from scratch.

I think I have got some food perfectionist disorder and have made my life too complicated .

Anyways I did realise two simple things which I was already having was adding roughly 2-4 mg iron daily to my diet.
It is mustard seeds and cumin seeds, both are added to tadka in every day food.
1tbsp cumin contains 4mg iron and 1 tbsp mustard seeds contains 0.6 mg.

I think our Indian food always balanced all nutrients required for us,we just need to dig information.

 

I too tired for my first preg...chinese calender showed as boy..but i was blessed with girl . and this time too it show boy ....dono hoping for the best....and heartrate for firstprefnacy its was right....this time baby heart rate is 141bpm.... so i cant guess if its boy or girl

 

Hi All,

Had my anomaly scan on friday,everything came out normal.Saw baby's little heart,legs and all.
Still those images come in front of my eyes all the time .

And the lady who did scan told me it looked like a girl.
That's why I wanted this scan here, before I go to India for delivery.
So happy with the news. I always wanted to buy those little frocks in supermarket for my baby.
Now I can buy those for my little baby girl.
