One more thing I forgot to mention, they mentioned in the childbirth class about skin to skin contact and breastfeeding immediately after birth...I think it helps in breastfeeding. As soon as they cleaned the baby, they gave her to me for the above and then took her to the nursery.
Still in pain now, in the hospital and unable to sleep....guess it takes time to heal. I wish everyone a safe delivery.

Tough whether it is normal or cesarian.. After that life would be beautiful..;-)

 

Rose. Pain will be there for few weeks. Depends on how bad the tear was. Have they given you ice pads ? It was such relief with my first one. I took couple from hospital to home too and used it for few weeks. The Medicines makes you drowsy and above all BF. hope you're managing well.

Hey All, God blessed us with a baby boy on Dec 8th(normal delivery) and named him as Arjun. Both baby and myself are doing good. Congrats to all new mommies.
