    Dear friends,

Need some tips/ideas for my 2.4 years old girl. She has very curly hair and I don't know how to take care of it.
When I give her hair wash, dry and comb her hair..it lookes like black cotton on her head:)....When I apply oil on her hair....all gets curls up and be in circles.....which doesn't suit her at all....I know health is most important than any other and cannot change this..but need to maintain good....
Is there any moisture/conditioner(harmless) or any home care/any specific combs available for such toddlers?

Love to hear from you moms:idea...thanks.:)

    hehehe :)
I was picturising my son's curly hair.
It is all curled up, one good thing is you dont have to comb them, it looks good anyways :rotfl:rotfl

I use a detangling shampoo while giving bath. for combing hair as well, you get a spray as detangler.
    Gently brush. it should help

Thats true...sometime I just put a clip for her even without combing bcoz it'll look the same after combing too...you know what ,in winter(even in less cold) I just put the cap on her head,so that she'll keep for hours just to make her hair combable....hmmm...:) .....Its very good for western outfits..but not for our traditional dresses.....Azhahupaaka mudilayennu ammakku kavalai..enna panna:rotfl

your DD will look like a princess when she grows up :)

    Hi,
My 2 year old DS also has lovely curly hair...even lock is curled and actually it looks cute on kids. Wherever i take him, people don't fail to notice his curly hair :) I just use a mild shampoo, and oil his hair everyday to maintain it. Comb hair using comb with wide gaps which will remove the tangles :)

    Hi ladies,
    Count me in too....
My DD too has a very curly hair, but, i had to recently chop them off:coffee
Reason being , we stay in a country where the weather is very hot, so tough to maintain.
before her hair cut, i used to wash them twice a week, once with meera shikha & once with johnson's baby shampoo.
I used to apply 1 spoon of oil everyday.
She looked lovely whnever I put 1 or 2 cute ponytails for her.
People always compliment her on that :thumbsup

    Regards,
