Look in farmers market.

 

google "free range broiler chicken" or "pastured raised chicken" and see if any of your neighbouring grocery stores come up. Many organic claims on chickens would also claim that they had been raised on farms and on the pastures, not in sheds with feeders.

Like MalStrom said,farmers market is the place you can try for country chicken.Some of my friends say they found the taste of Cornish hen available in US is similar to our country chicken. You can try it and see.

 

I use the Tyson cornish hen.
It tastes almost like country chicken
