I'm not a fan of Sukhi's Kitchen either. They look fancy and taste meh. I stick to the Indian store brands.
I just saw a huge gallon jar of ghee at our Costco yesterday.

One thing about Costco is that you never come out with only what you intended when you went in!! I usually plan that it would be quick - milk and a few veggies... but then this and that comes into view and you soon have a cart full!!

    Some other things -

    Baby Wipes
Formula (When I needed them) - I have seen the big boxes of Similac Organic only here
    Paper plates/spoons/cups
    Kitchen Mat
    Movie tickets
    Tires
    Pasta Sauce (Kirkland Organic Marinara)
The big bag of Broccoli florets
Nanak Rasmalai (yum to the nth degree!!!!)
Verka Organic Dahi - the big dabba
    Cereal

    @kkrish ... long time :)

I sampled the quinoa and brown rice pasta at Costco that they had just cooked with olive oil, salt and pepper. It was so delicious that I bought a bag. But I could never get it to cook right.... it always ended up a goopy mess. So I have almost 1/2 a bag just sitting. I think I follow the instructions on the package correctly. Any tips?

Also the lentil pasta... the taste was a bit hard to get used to!!!

Ever "lose" your cart at Costco? You forget the aisle you left it in or someone moves it away?

After reading Malstrom's and kkrish's lists, I am thinking -- what if either of them loses her filled cart and I find it. : )

We used to shop regularly at Costco, but the long lines in the weekend and waiting for ever in aisles as people's carts block the way.. are a pain. Now, we go less frequently.

    King Crab, Tilapia, sometimes catfish
Dried Organic mangoes (really delicious, though high calorie)
Pita Chips (organic. I think Stacy's brand)
Baked, lightly salted, green peas. Yummy!
    Vegetable broth
    Chicken broth
    croissants (rarely)
25 pack greeting cards. Always good quality. for the few times, I use greeting cards.
Gift cards to many local stores & restaurants ($100 worth of card for $80)
    Movie tickets (sometimes)

I always pop in to their stationery and nearby aisles. They sometimes have good single pieces of furniture, like a comfy chair, organizer, floor mat and so on.

I have never lost my cart, but I once started filling up someone else's cart with my stuff! The poor man was so confused as to why I was doing that and was probably too shocked to say anything since he just kept staring at me with a confused expression. It was a good few minutes before I realized and sheepishly grinned!! I only realized I had been filling up the wrong cart when I saw a huge bag of soil he had on the bottom of his cart.

    :hello: Welcome to IL, @Vasu777!

So true! These are always on my list.

:astonished: I'm moving to wherever you guys live!

Thanks for this tip! I'll do it, too.

So true for when I go! When DH goes, he returns with exactly what's on the list.

I had no idea! Thank you!!

I'd love to see @kkrish's recipe, too. Meanwhile, here's my no-oil, one-pot recipe: Add frozen stir-fry veggies to water in a pot, let it come to a boil. Simmer 4-6 minutes. Add a cake of the noodles. Cook one minute to soften them. Use a fork (or whatever) to separate the noodles. Cook three more minutes. Drain. Add sauce (I usually have cubes of frozen homemade sauces on hand, but I have added store-bought sauces in a pinch). Heat through and enjoy.

How do you cook this? Recipe, please. Thank you.
