Dr. John Campbell is making Broccoli Soup, and talking about the nutritional aspects of ingredients he uses:
Poor thing! If he cooks and eats like that every day , I should invite him home for a decent meal one day.
Hi Perima. I hope you are doing good. Great tip to increase our immunity levels.
Will follow it.
@Amulet Liked this receipe. This is different from our preparation of soup .we use small onion, crushed ginger garlic ,cumin seed and pepper to the vegetables and cook.vegetables are cut into small cubes and so it is easy to mash it with a Ladle . salt is added when mashing. .cook Thoor dhal seperately with more water and this stalk is used for thick consistency. Those who want more spicy soup Pepper powde can be used. This is old style of making soup.some use cornflour too. No oil is used to saute and no cream for taste. If i take soup i can't have my food as soup fills my stomach.
@Anusha2917 i am doing good ma.How are you?i was thinking about all of you residing in US and that's why i gave a small tips to improve immunity. In India we see our neighbours daily and you people are isolated from others.i felt much for such a situation and prayed to God to forgive us if we made mistakes and give back a healthy life.

This whole nature cure thing is either hyped up or mocked at based on vested interests, whether it is GOI's Ayush advisory or the cow and it's associated stuff.
Advisory for Corona virus
These 'accessory' treatments do help in providing relief from symptoms while the body is fighting the primary pathogen, like the antibiotics that are given during viral fever.
One traditional kashayam helped in magically boosting the platelet count when a relative was admitted with a serious viral fever, thereby avoiding transfusion. When as a kid and suffering from conjuctivitis, grandpa splashed my eye with cow urine and it did help.
Continuous inorganic fertilizer routine (N, P, K) provided excellent returns for almost a decade and then the lot of new diseases started cropping up. Organic farmers suggested 'panjakavya' which is prepared again from cow refuse and some other food stuff. Finally gave up on inorganic and applied it and was able to save 75% of the crop. Though I am back again to inorganic routine, reduced the dosage now and applying vermi compost (which is processed cow dung) to have a balance. There's more earthworms in the soil now.
It may feel empowering to discredit all these traditional methods for people who had been brought up in the urban and who shop for food from supermarket shelves, but if they take a sunday off to venture into the rural to see how food grows, perhaps there will be less mockery of the whole thing. Armed with scientific explanations they start to make memes of the nature stuff and the other side starts to defend it with 'cow urine is the only cure for COVID' and we are going nowhere with that.
What is that kashayam ? If not family secret, expound s'il vous plait !
