Hi All, I have been wanting to prepare Chinese dumpling [ veg/non-veg ]. I had tasted in a Chinese restaurant, it's delicious. The recipes posted on net involve lengthy process, So I want simple yet tasty recipe. If, anyone has the recipe please post it. Would be of great help :bowdown. Thanks all.
simple Recipie for chinese dumpling :- <LI class=ingredient>1 cup ground meat<LI class=ingredient>1 TB soy sauce<LI class=ingredient>1 teaspoon salt<LI class=ingredient>1 TB Chinese rice wine or dry sherry<LI class=ingredient>1/4 teaspoon freshly ground white pepper, or to taste<LI class=ingredient>3 TB sesame oil<LI class=ingredient>1/2 green onion, finely minced<LI class=ingredient>1 1/2 cups finely shredded cabbage<LI class=ingredient>4 tablespoons shredded bamboo shoots (optional )Heat the pan with oil (sesame oil) + white /green onion + meat+cabbage(finely shredded) + salt+pepper+soy sauce + rice wine (optional)n- filling for the dough - u can buy the rice paper roll in the shops or you have to prepare the dough same like sevai or iddiyappam
Thanks for the recipe. Do we have to steam or fry the dumpling? If you can tell me the steaming process I would be grateful to you. Can we steam them just like our idlies? I don't know what sevai/ iddiyappam is? I have no idea regarding Tamil ingredients [ English/ Telugu should be fine ] Once again thank you for the recipe, thought nobody would post a reply.
