can anyone share their monthly expenses in bayarea as here rents are very high

    Can anyone share their monthly expenses in bayarea as here the house rents are very high.and it would be more helpful in list as rent, p&g, grocery, car gas , shopping, extra expenses and so on..........

    It depends on which city and 1 or 2 bedroom house.

    Good school districts like Cupertino/Mission San Jose - rents can be even 3000+ for 2b/2b
    Not good school districts can be 2000-2600 for 1 and 2 bed apts

    I am planning to migrate as a single mum with my 6 year old son initially for 3 months . My husband will travel later after few months.

    What would be monthly expenses come up to if we could stay in 1 bhk without car?
