    The answer depends on many factors such as geography to which he is exposed, various cycles of weather he would encounter, his hobbies, past time, spouse, theist, present and past health, his interest in literature, whether he is a netizen, official status of past and current, outlook western or occidental, etc. There are numerous things comes to mind. You can see him in modern haberdashery, if vision is corrected you can buy him power gogle in gold coated thin spectacle, if his ear lobes already adorned you can replace it and have wonderful selfi , you can buy him I phone, I pad,
    another wonderful suggestion. Wish that it had occurred tome. This suggestion should have open arms welcome provided Dad is strong in legs enjoy hobnobbing and a tad extrovert. Thank You. Reg:innocent:ards.

    Very glad to read ur post. Any gift received from a child is worth a million. Another thing whether he had made sacrifices or not is immaterial. Parents always deserve the love of children. Though they wont express , in mind they will have expectation not of receiving a big gift or so but the affection expressed thro that small act. As told by Thygarajan, based on certain factors select the gift.U know him better than anyone else. Wish the Almighty shower his Richest blessings on ur father & family members on that Happy Eve.

    @AllizWell
    this is also wonderful suggestion; but subject to Dad's approval (of course mom's too) and his propensity for such a hectic trip please ensure simultaneously travel insurance and health insurance are arranged and finalise their itinerary. Wishing your Dad (MOM) and U all the best. God Bless us all.
