I have stuck with Mac for the longest coz of the same reason of breaking out easily. However, recently I tried a cosmetic brand Matchco. Its a cosmetic company which custom makes the foundation just for your complexion. Google them and get the app downloaded and try it. The product is really good. I highly recommend this brand. Didn't break out once using this product. Plus- if you dont like the product you can return it and get a refund.

@Gauri03- I lost a ton of hair in postpartum ( blood test came out normal). I have been using castor oil past 1 month. I see a significant change in hair growth. Apparently, there is black castor oil which my cousin told me about, haven't tried it yet. Waiting for my old bottle to finish up.

Nope. Had colored for a long time before I started greying. Lost count of colors tried by me a friend.

Allergic to many brands. Bobbi Brown and Mac are what I use.

Nordstrom, American eagle and sometimes Loft. All have easy hassle free return policies.

Keep changing the look. Same thing is boring. Do what suits you the best.

Facials monthly.
Spa/massage - I try to go monthly too.
Mani/pedi - twice a month with GFs. We love experimenting with colors and changing colors. I was told the Nexgen manicures are harmful for nails. Hunting for a natural option.

Mani pedi - once a month. If I am lazy, which is more often than not, I do it at home.
Facials - I'm torn on the usefulness of facials. They do make you feel relaxed. However, the two primary causes of wrinkles are UV exposure and mechanical stress. Facials are hour long stress sessions for the face! I avoid them. I prefer sheet masks.

Mani and pedi Once a month go with 2 of my ex-colleagues and have dinner and go home. Its like ketching up time + girls night out.
I don't get facial done, but get oil massage for my hair, we 6 friends get together in one of our house on a weekend and have 2 indian ladies coming in and does facial, oil massage, hair coloring, henna, threading, neck massage depending on each once's need . On that time our spouses and kids get together and have fun in someone else's house.. Some time we cook food sometime we order food for both groups. ( I have an older one, sometime she join me, sometime she doesn't) Its like once a month our get together relaxing party.

I'm not sure about Macy's. I get it at Nordstrom. Chat up the saleswomen and they'll make up a lot of samples for you.

Avalon Organic Thickening B Complex Shampoo

Josie Maran argan Daily moisturizer with SPF 47. The best for me. I can not keep any other sunscreen on my face without breakouts.

I do not remember the last time I shopped for clothes though...I am lazy shopper so I never follow trends in clothes. And mostly none of my clothes ever given up on me, they seem to hardly get out of fashion. Or atleast I don't mind wearing same clothes season in season out. Especially the CK, ANN Tyler and M&S ones. Some are bought in my 20s and still going strong or may by I really take good care of them. dont know. but if given a choice, I will visit these stores for my future purchases.

Always keep clean hair, clean nails and clean face. When it comes to make up, LESS IS MORE. Before walking out the door, look in the mirror and say " Hello gorgeous!!"

I never ever went out for mani padi. I am crazy ticklish- people there will go crazy keeping me at one place
Facial- I may have got it done at a spa it like 2-3 times until now. And absolutely hated it. I hate the idea of anyone touching my face. so i just do face oil massage at home, apply some honey and oats flour/ besan/ masoor dal flour and wash my face after bath. I am super lazy in this department. so I have to put it in calendar about once in 2 months or so. That same time, I take relaxing bath and give myself a pedi. And then take a long cozy nap. All that self care is a huge WORK for me
