    At which month scan did u come to know ur babys gender??

    Did any old wives tale held true for you?

    You can find it out in 20 week scan if you wish to. I found out in my first trimester screening through blood work

    Yes you can. They can do that.. I live in Texas too so I know its allowed but remember there should enough Baby DNA in your blood for them to even tell the gender.. Some hospital charge you for that mine was free both the times...

    The blood test is the normal blood test right taken from the arms???

    Chitra, was this test the cell free DNA test? We got it done to check for Down's syndrome, and they gave us the gender along with it. I didn't know you could find out the gender from a regular blood screen.

    OP, with my son every old wives tip pointed towards a girl. Even the Chinese calendar said it would be a girl. We found out it's a boy at 22 weeks. This time we knew it was a girl right from week 12, so I didn't pay attention to any signs or symptoms.

    Gauri: No idea what it is called.. All they did was take three viles of blood from me.. This was with my first pregnancy too.. actualy before doing that they asked me if I wanted to find it this early or not thru blood work.. I said yes...
