I also enjoyed "The birth of a new Mother" while enjoying the birth of Avantika!. Your post is a Guiding post for many first-time - Mothers- to be.

It is such a sad state of affairs with the Indian hospitals nurses and Medical staff. I still couldnot understand how that nurse talked to you in such a rude manner. But this is what regularly happens with all Indian Medical professionals in whatever level they are. Doctors technicians nurses and other support staff lose the sense of Human approach, not even a customer service approach. Sad.
