To report the PDUs you got online, you will need to regiter with PMI.

The better way is to attend PMP training. You will get a good overview of the PMP concepts and will gear you up to read a very dry PMBOK :)

I didnt refer PMBOK for my PMP prep as i found it difficult to read 2 pages at a stretch.

I am certified PMP. Let me know if you need any help. I can post some questions also that you can attempt! :)

Am not very sure of which institute would provide the required PDUs but I have registed with 'PM Podcast' which provides variety of options to acquire the PDUs. It has great online podcasts that you can download and listen instead of reading. If you are working, check in your organization, am sure they would arrange some sessions for this.

Good luck to you all guyz!!

    1) Apart from PMBOK, it is advisable to have Rita Mulcahy book for that provides few additional information and approaches which is not covered in depth in PMBOK
    2) Be sure to choose the correct edition. Currently Edition is 5th.
    3) There are number of question banks in website. Use them wisely, but remember they may include past editions too.. so do not panic if a topic is new to you
    4) Have a discipline to devote min of 1 hour per day to read thro the PMBOK and Rita. Ponder the points and not just reading thro them.
    5) Having a partner is better than writing alone. That way you can compete, analyse, argue and write the exams together
    6) Stick to the date - you will be definitely tempted to postpone the exam. But do not repeat it beyond 3 times
    7) Take notes - have a rough note ready to chart down all the points as and when you study. You can note down abbreviations and short cuts to remember key points
