I am definitely game for that. It would be good if you start a thread for JLPT N5 and post it all in it for everyone's reference. Thanks for being so enthusiastic about this.
Ohayou gozaimasu tomodachi(S) By the way how to say friend in plural :bonk Cool.... You all are in full form..... :thumbsup I'm googling to understand most of your words :drowning but that really gives me a punch to learn fast..... Will give my contribution this week end Tanoshi san, Thanks for the link you have provided. Yes they have exam center in HK. Will look at the speed of my preparation and then plan to appear accordingly. Kampai, Gaya3
Minnasan Konnichiwa, o genki desu ka? kyou tenki wa ii desu. gaya, plural for friends is tomodachi. love alpa:cheers
Hai alpa san, Konnichiwa, genki desu. alpa-san no kuni wa ii tenki de, chipsu mo oishi desune. watashino kuni wa ii tenki dewa arimasen. koko wa sukoshii atsui desu. I have some doubt, can u clear me : (1) nairobi in katakana also nairobi (not) nailobi, in japanese dont have "l/lo" sound/pronunciation/letter. (2) samukatta desu or samukatta de****a - ~katta is past tense, so i thought de****a. (3) ino wa nan desu ka? you mean ima/kino/kyou arigatou gozaimasu. sabitha :thumbsup
Sabithsan konnichiwa, kyou wa nani o shimasu ka? answers to your questions are below in colour Dewa mata ne alpa:cheers
alpa-san, kyou wa osoku okima****a. :bonk jikanga nai kara, kesa asagohan to hirugohan mo hayaku tsukute, ato de Watashi wa densha de jimusho ni kima****a. Alpasan wa nani o shimasuka, alpa san wa kaisha de hataraite imasuka? domou arigatou gozaimasu. sabitha
Konnichiwa Gaya3 san. O genki desuka. Good to know you are speeding up your preparations dear. I too need to to catch up with Alpa san and Sabita san . When I read, I get it all, but when I have to reply I am actually lost for words ..So posting the simplest sentences possible..lol BTW What Alpa said is right - Plural for Tomodachi in Japanese is Tomodachi. Why? Cos there are no plurals in the language. 1 book = hon 10 books = hon Also no gender. There is no - HE did this, SHE went there. Its always: (the person) did this/went there. You can read more here: Introductory Japanese Lessons Lesson 2 explains about the above. Hope that helped. PS. Kampai is used in place of Cheers - like a toast while drinking Try using Ganbatte - Come on!!! (as in do well)
Konnichiwa mina-san. Watashi mo Indo no tenki was suki dewa arimasen. Demo Igirisu no tenki mo amari suki dewa arimasen. Koko wa ima tottemo samui desu. Itsumo kumotte aru. lol...I was hoping to convey: Hello all. I too do not like the weather in India. But I hate the weather in England. Its very cold. Its always dull/cloudy. And thanks for those corrections girls. I always get confused about the desu and de-shi-ta. Will have to revise that too today.
