Moving to Indianapolis, IN

Hello IL's,
This summer we are moving to Indiana. I am looking for good schools and good neighbourgood to get settled. Once we visted Indiana with the family and looked around the places and heard Carmel Schools are good and lloking for homes in West Carmel or in Zionsville. Please let me have your inputs on these areas who live there. Your input will really help us to get settled soon before the school starts after summer.

Hello friends....Currently i do not belong to this sub forum..but may join the group sooner or later if my DH takes an assigment at Indianapolis. Though my query may not be relevant to the topic in discussion, i need a help from u all...can someone give me details on what is the expected cost of living in Indianapolis -- like Rent, car insurance, gas, grocery, electricity, tax, internet & phone charges - for a family of 2 adults with a toddler ? ( we do not spend lavishly but prefer a decent living with some basic comforts)...i will need this information to decide if we can afford a decent living in the US & still save at the end of the day...please provide your inputs on this...Thanks
