    Hi

Regarding ADHD, there are a few simple measures that you can follow. Its not an incurable one, and in most cases it fades away as the child grows. Make sure that you reduce the amount of sugar in his diet, including sweets, chocolates, canned fruit juices etc. Give minimal amount of sugar. Treatment with medication should only be given after trying out other methods. There is something called as working memory training, you can learn about this and do it for ur child at home itself, Give him simple tasks such as preparing a few sheets of paper coloured differently, say, blue and red, and show it to him at a distance n you have to keep changing the colours a bit fast, ask him to raise his hands only when he sees the red colour, He will get bored with in 5 minutes, try doing this for a longer time at home and say him that u will give him a gift if he does it properly. Instead of colours you can shows pictures of differnt flowers, birds, animals, food etc. Other than this always make sure that there is minimal amount of instructions that you give to the child, regarding all things, so that he doesnt get overwhelmed with many choices. While treating with medication, since you already pointed out that he has dyslexia, your doctor has to tailor a medication that is suitable for your child alone, that will work for both adhd and dyslexia, you can not treat both differently, since in most cases adhd co-exist with some other medical condition. Is he hyperactive, and always fidgeting or playing with things in his classroom and else where, or does he have problems only in giving attention in the class. if he has problem in concentrating in the class, make sure that he sits in the first bench or something, where there is minimum distraction, do the same thing at home when he is doing homework, make sure there is no distraction from tv or computer or elsewhere. there might be some other talent that your child has, try to develop it, and always boost the confidence of your child,

and also pls search the internet for various ways to improve reading n writing skills in dyslexia.especially videos n articles by Susan Barton. its possible to overcome it, I hope your child grows out to be an intelligent smart boy :) God bless

ADHD symptoms can be controlled with medications but medication options are different and you have to factor in the side effects. Besides, allopathic meds fr ADHD should be started only after 6 yrs. Of age.

YDyslexia is not curable as it is a condition. You can teach the child to learn the correct letter formation through cognitive strategies (using directionality) and repeated practice. But through out his academic years you will find that you have to stay on top of his learning and teach him new strategies as per her needs. It is not a case of sending him to tuition at 5 and 6 and he is all done at 7. You will learn with the process...it is time consuming and requires some level of energy and effort from you but it is do-able. Lots of parents do so even as we post.

ADHD and dyslexia don't have to be comorbid with any medical condition...
