    Dear Megalife,

I have heard marriage being compared to and likened to many things, but must say, never did I come across anyone mentioning Pickle!!:)

Upon reading this short and crisp, or should I say this sharp and peppery post, I could not agree with you more! You have drawn a very interesting and peppy comparison!! I agree, marriage gets better with time and yes, a lot of additions, stirring and tempering is required to make a good pickle...ahem...a good marriage!

Congratulations are once again due for getting nominated to FP!:thumbsup

    Dear Kamla
As married women, we do live through this pickled married life, the pickling process is ongoing and shoud never stop. The day we stop the shaking, tempering and spicing process we see that moulds accumulate and if we still choose to ignore we have real worms knawing through. Thanks it made a wholesome read.Thank you Manju once again for the nomination!

That was a wonderful comparison Megalife. Really enjoyed reading it..The Mango pickle is my all time favourite and never thought this little thing would teach us so much about marriage..lol

What we add to it is what determines the taste it comes out with. Excess salt, spice or oil and over ripe mangoes will get us nowhere. Less of it will also not give us the desired results. Anything in moderation does the trick.

Thanks for writing this. Really enjoy it.
