Many more happy returns of the day.

We are getting into 36th year together this June.

Frankly, we have flouted all of the rules mentioned by you, but care for each other was never affected. We are not the ideal couple but couple who know how to get along and believe in unconditional love. We both appear to be watching the actions of each other than the words uttered. There are no appreciations exchanged but implied. We both believe in contributing to the family than expecting something from the other.

Today is our 46th Wedding Anniversary. Cant believe that we have completed 46 yrs. A successful marriage requires falling in love many times always with the same person.

Rules for a Happy Marriage
Never both be angry at the same time.
Never yell at each other unless the house is on fire.
If one of you HAS to win an argument, let it be your mate.
If you have to criticize, do it lovingly.
Never bring up mistakes of the past.
Neglect the whole world rather than each other.
Never go to sleep with an argument unsettled.
At least once every day try to say one kind or complimentary thing to your life’s partner.
When you have done something wrong, be ready to admit it and ask for forgiveness.
It takes two to make a quarrel, and the one in the wrong is the one who does the most talking.

In my married life I have tried to follow the above rules. Whenever my husband gets angry which will be for a genuine reason I keep quiet. I have never tried to argue with him. Till today I have never fought or stopped talkng to him. I have always tried to see the positive side of him. In the earlier days I did not understand him but as the years passed understood him and felt I am blessed to have him as my better half and now feel we are one and not two.

7 Important things to have and give in your marriage:

1 LOVE : The special feeling that makes you feel all warm and wonderful.

2 RESPECT : Treating your spouse as you would like to be treated.

3 APPRECIATION : To be grateful for all the good things your spouse does for you.

4 HAPPINESS : The full enjoyment of each moment spent together with a smiling face.
5 FORGIVENESS: The ability to let things be without anger.

6 SHARING : The joy of giving without thoughts of receiving.
7 HONESTY : The quality of always telling the truth

At the outset let me wish you MANYY HAPPY RETURNS OF THE DAY. I AM SURE you must have recalled the mood and plesant times you had from the year of marriage till today .
2. I am sure you would have also enjoyed doing your prayers in new costumes and cooked special food including pal payasam with semiya and had many helpings sharing between your beloved spouse and you.
4. You had given, an excellent enviable message woven with great care on this special day reflecting how to sail in a wedlock not only for young couple but also to the ripe one's. A message that would be cherished long by one and all.
3. The deep affection and respect you always command by your virtual daughters in IL is well understood from their response messages here.
4. May your hubby and you be blessed with robust health and energy for many more years to come.
