    Hello Ma'am,

    Was reading your post and all about your creative art. Truly beautiful ornaments . beautiful pouches and now beautiful door hangings..

    I too want to make those chains and earrings and maybe copy this as a gift this time for Kolu. Please can you tell me how you did them? I see you stay at Mumbai, Where in mumbai? I am one year old here. We dont keep kolu in my inlaws place but I want to keep some small kolu this time, let see. Where in mumbai do you get them? I actually liked your attention to detail to buy the matching pouches to pack them. Looking at your interest I feel enthusiastic.

    Dear Roopa, thanks so much for your detailed feedback and queries and I am most happy to answer them !!

    You are most welcome to copy these simple designs. I am right now based in Chennai dear and if I am in Mumbai I stay in Chembur. I buy my craft materials from the local craft stores there in Lakshmi Market area.

    The pouches and the sets that I had made for 2010 were in Bahrain. I got the felt materials there and did them but you get them here in India too.

    You will get all your bead supply and other accessories in the craft stores in Mumbai. Let me know wherein Mumbai you stay and if I know that place can assist you dear.

    You can keep a simple golu and can get the bommais/clay or papermache dolls in matunga and Chembur areas. I am not aware of other areas dear !!

    Sudha ji!! your wall hangings are so good.. can you pls. tell what was the middle beads(the bigger one, it seemed like fish .. and some thing..couldnt get any idea)..
