14 Months Old Baby Not Walking Yet

Where do you live op?? Ask your paediatrician. She will refer you to a developmental evaluation?? Always good to evaluate than assuming

 

Mum shouldn't worry. But if she really wants to hurry up the girl, she can get one of these child walkers, the child can stand or sit as she pleases. This is also useful to mind the baby, when mum is attending to something else for a second.
Mum can also call the baby to come to her, and that will make the baby stand up and walk.

 

To give some some peace of mind, my kid started walking at 15.5 months, and she did not even crawl. At 13/14 months, she start butt crawling, dragging on but and every body used to make fun of her. One day suddenly without training etc, she started walking in full control. so as long as she is active and healthy, do not worry.

FYI - we had walkers before even 1 yr old and she was very active in walker. and we used to do lot of massage. After india trip at 12 months, i started getting worried after 1-2 relative commented. But also india trip help her in starting crawling, since she is at home all the time, then in india so many people and hard surfaces helped.
