Yesterday our community temple organized a 12-hour non-stap chanting session of the holy Gayatri Mantra from 6am to 6pm. It was organized very well. Anyone could join in at any time and chant. We too went there in the evening. Joined in the session. The crowds got bigger towards the end. There was a havan to end the chanting. It felt so divine in the hall with just the sweet words of the powerful Gayatri Mantra echoeing all over. It is indeed true that praying in a group makes one feel stronger and more hopeful in life. In front of us was just a picture of Gayatri Maa and we were focused on that. Just felt like sharing this divine experience with everyone here. Dear SaiSakthi sister, Ok I wil pm the address if again an opportunity like this comes up. Yes indeed...towards the conclusion of this event, the seven pandits recited a collective prayer for all. At this moment, our minds too were focused on praying for everybody. At such a time with such holy words being echoeing, each ones personal desires do not come in mind except prayers for everbody's well-being at large.
