    எத்தனை நாள் தொடரும்
    என் சிக்கல்கள் என்றே
    என்றைக்கும் எண்ணாது முயலும்
    எண்ணிக்கையில் குறைந்தோர் வெல்வார்!

    நாளென்பது முயல்வாருக்கு
    பொருட்டில்லை, உணர்வாய்!
    நீளும் தொடர்ந்தாரின் கதைகள்.
    நாளும் அவர் வெற்றி பேசும்!

    யானை பெற இருபத்திரண்டு மாதம்,
    குறிஞ்சி பூக்க பன்னிரண்டு வருடம்,
    இருப்பினும் அவ்வினங்கள் உண்டு
    அவற்றுக்கு தனிச்சிறப்பும் உண்டு!

    உன்னாலும் நிச்சயம் முடியும்,
    உருக்காய் உள்ளம் கொண்டால்!
    உழைப்பின் பயனும் நல்கும்
    உவகையே தனி தான் என்பார்!

    Really superb lines and wordings. So true, live life for now, and do the best and take things as it comes and that is what makes life more smoother, inspite of the hurdles it throws in your way.
    Beautiful poem. We need to believe it and should strive for that.

    Perhaps the most easy thing to say and the most difficult [almost impossible] to do is to endure and come out successfully, Vaidehi.
    Just remembering Carnatic singer Sanjay Subramanian's words - For winning that 100 metre race, how many thousand metres a person would have ran and practised? Thanks for your quick and nice feedback. -rgs

    Well, it is definitely varied for many people, but in this world of unpredicatable stay, that is the only option for many.
    With so many issues especially which can affect the health, we all strive not only to make a safe passage to adulthood for the kids, but we have to make sure we as an individual do what we intend to do whilst that little strength is there in our body. To procastinate that towards a time where the health can fail for many a reason would be a foolish thing. So better try to do things whilst able, do things what is feasible and one feels comfortable and enjoys. Just my 2 cents.

    Very practical approach, I should say, Vaidehi. Happy to know your view on this.
    While we try to make things easier for our kids, we are at times stunting their growth also in the respective area. Besides times have changed and what they face right now is not what we faced then. -rgs
