    Innocent flame
    Chases away
    Fright

    Beautiful Night
    Enhances the
    Mysteries of the Dark

    Innocent Flame
    Gives No Chance
    To be Alarmed

    Beautiful Lights Beautiful Night

    Happens But once
    A Year

    There is every Good Reason
    To share Good Cheer

    Beautiful Lights Beautiful Night

    Moon pales in front of the
    Innocent flame

    Many Innocent flames
    Put the Moon at awe

    The moon at awe

    G-d created moon amidst
    Primordial Darkness

    Man created light amidst
    Fear

    Fear of what

    Darkness is as
    Much to be revered as Light


    Flame is innocent Devi Mata
    Dark is wise, fiery Kali Mata

    Om Krem Kali-Kaye Namah
