I just have a simple question, as some of you know i am going to live with my in laws full time after marriage, as my fiancee has sent me the pics of his house, my in-laws room and my fiancee's room ( going to be mine as well) are next to each other. How to manage night chores. I am laughing while posting this but cant ask anyone else ladies please pour ur tips and tricks
Play some music, shut doors from inside or even you can change your ceiling fan to something which can produce more wind noise
Music is a nice option @Rowith , but it will always be with conscious mind, will we be able to enjoy "our" time ?
How a window ac will help... no idea @blackbeauty84 and yes its a newly constructed house, currently it has just two bedrooms, a drawing room , an open garden cum garage and kitchen , bathroom ofcourse ... but only two bedrooms in future we might add some on 1st floor
Window ac's are noisy, so one don't get to hear feeble noises.outside the bedroom.... Yeah do construct a room upstairs so that you can have your privacy.
thanku dear... we already have split ac in in-laws room, and planning to buy one for ours this year, will surely go for the window ac ... another room construction will take some time ..so have to adjust with some tricks till then
Could you make the room a sound proof one? At least closing all the openings would help. Fixing an AC is the best option. To do this, you are required to close all the openings of the room, including small holes. Then as someone mentioned play some music in the mobile, and let it go until you both fall sleep. Moreover, you won't make weird noises as it is shown in the masala movies. If bed is the culprit, then you can always opt for a mat in the floor comfortably.
Get a good set of noise-cancelling headphones for both in-laws. And sponsor regular, nice long vacations for them!
