If men have a liking for working women then men should also have a liking to share household chores.

I think there are two kinds of men: one who like their wife and one who don't.
Because, I have seen men praising working women when their wife is SAHM and the very same person praising SAHM when his wife went to work after few years.
So, in my opinion it is about a man liking his wife or not, and not about SAHM vs working mom.
It reminds me of a cousin who always liked what was cooked at someone else's place.

 

According to me, men like women who manage their work in smart manner whether it be at home or in office.

 

I too agree that men prefer financially independent women but also at the same time she should be able to manage with house work.

 

Right, "working" women are liked - irrespective of being a homemaker or office goer, choices vary among men.

 

My DH likes women who thinks maturely and independently, Who talks constructively. But should not be independent in terms of finances( of course initial days only).

 

I find it hard to understand this thread. Perhaps it's because, where i come from, its a given 99% of the time that both men and women work. One income will probably give the couple a very basic life. The Indian community instill it in Indian girls that we should never depend on a man and hold our own financially, even after marriage. Marriage in community of property isn't even common here.

It's strange how our cultures can differ this much.
