One interview doesn't make you a loser. It was one day. Didn't go in your favor. Doesn't prove a thing about you or your skills. There is a saying: The race is long and in the end, it's only with yourself. Cheer up!
hey @VijayaRaghu I know u didnt ask for opinions. Not the purpose of this thread...but couldnt stop myself..just wanted to say its...ok..happens to most at some point or the other. Been on both sides of the table...Blanking out on trivial questions....making mistakes while coding on the white board ...more common than most admit. Its stressful . Dont be hard on urself. Take a few weeks off and forget the interview happened. Try not to re-hash every question and ur answer.
Pls accept my condolences. Agree with @KashmirFlower , Take your time to grieve. Most valuable things in life is family, not interview. There will be too many interviews. Please do not let this one depress you. You have your kids and husband with you when you are grieving the loss of your mom. Take it easy. You will be fine. Until you mind normalcy again, avoid any major changes in life, if you can help it. Hope you feel better.
Oh dear....sorry for your loss. But don't think you are a loser. Never ever think you are a loser. There is always a brighter side, who knows may be a better job is waiting for you, that's why you didn't cleared that interview. Don't be depressed, vent our your feelings in IL, you will feel better.
My confession for the day - Giving unwanted suggestion. I never give suggestions to anyone unless they ask for. But today I failed in following that principle. But lesson learnt. We learn from our mistakes right, so good for me, I learnt a new lesson again
@KashmirFlower @Gauri03 @justanothergirl @blessings1010 @kcb You ladies are awesome ! you all just jumped in and made me feel kind of better. Thanks for boosting me up and sorry for hijacking this thread.
Don't worry....we are always students in the school of life.....so every day we learn new things, every time its a new learning.....
You are always welcome dear..... Visit IL regularly and participate in discussions, you will feel better...
