hi Subha,

thanks for the info. I havent tried it because i already have a net phone at home. I think the voice clarity will be low. Any free service will not be that perfect. This is what i think lets c what others has to say before i pass on this message to my other friends.

To my knowledge, its working fine and the quality is also good. My parents installed this in India and spoke to me and the voice quality is good....Anyway, let us wait what others say..

Hey Ladies,

I use Stanacard to call india, just register with the website, for Every 100 dollars you recharge, they credit you with 60 dollars which is so cool. Also, rate/minute is also very less(not on the top of my head)

Don't anyone get Vonage....you sign up and if you want to cancel they tack on all sorts of extra charges and send you mail constantly. They are $25 a MONTH unlimited but MagicJack is $20 a YEAR. Their calling to India is 5 cents a min.

From my landline I am still using Amantel.com at 4 cents a min. I have been using that for years. Lately they are messing around with their providers but they are still fine.
