    I told our mils are supposed to be sisters na (CP and Ardhra). My mil sometimes adds left over rasam also in sambar :bang . But mostly, for dinner it will be dosa and sambar and I will keep idli podi to escape from watery sambar/rasam.

    my mil once prayed goddess tht she will give saree when my kid becomes alrigt n free frm fever cough n cold. after some days she calls my DH n tells him abt this n asks me to buy the saree n give it in the temple. now how clever is tht.

    My DH is not so lucky as he doesn't like podi..no matter how many times fil and DH tells her not to add water/rasam in sambar, mil doesn't listen. First she will add water to increase the sambar quantity, then when no one eats properly because of its taste, she'll crib that its getting wasted.
