Hai, Im Shanti from Malaysia.:cheers. Will be coming to South India for holidays for 10 days.. Can anyone give good suggestions of shops on buying sarees and churidar suits for elders and kids too.. Where can we buy idol statues mainly like kaval devam.

For Sarees and Churidhars - T.Nagar is the best place. There are good shops like Pothys, Saravana Stores ,Chennai Silks etc. For the other part reg statues i don't have any idea.

Hi,
Even you can go to parrys corner for dress materials. In parrys you can get may items for a whole sale price.

If you are going to buy clothes in bulk, then you can go to whole sale shops in MC Road, Washermanpet. For statues of Gods, visit Park Town area near Kandaswamy Temple, where there are shops dealing with metal items which sell all sorts of statues, pooja items, etc.
