Ok, my all time favourite is Senthil - Koundamani flicks. Talking about movies, Michael Madhana Kamarajan is one of a kind, and recently Boss Engira Bhaskaran was also good

I second Amiable on MMKR! Definitely one the best comedy films. Thillu Mullu and Guru Sishyan too.

I was never a great fan of Goundamani and Senthil (though I loved their combination in Karagathakarran and Uthaya Geetham) but among all the other comedians, Vivek used to be my favorite. He was in top form in the late 90's and early 2000's - starting from Vaali,Aasaiyil Oru kaditham, Pennin Manathai Thottu, Minnale, Dum Dum Dum, Parthalae Paravasam and many others. In fact, the only thing I remember about Parthale Paravasam (apart from ARR's songs) is Vivek's jokes. My favorite dialogue of his in the film is the one where he comments about Madhavan behind his back:-

"Oru padathula nadichithana! Ivalo scene kaaturan. Naan enna panuradhu? Enna pAkuraku munnadi, Maniratnam unna pAthutaru. Un adhirshtam, en duradhirshtam!" :rotfl

And in Dum Dum Dum where Madhavan asks Vivek's lover to act as his lover...
Maddy: Dei, en mela nambikai illaiya? Jim, naan Aadhi da!
Vivek: Nee Aadhi ya? Nee drohi da! Enna pudicha viyadhi da!
Maddy: Ennada ithu? Konja naalaiku un aala yen lover-a nadika permission ketkuren, avalothan...
Vivek: PermissionA da ketkura? Dei ithu oru indecent proposal da! (And beats Madhavan up)
    Vivek's gf: JIM!
Vivek: (on the verge of crying) Paarthiyada? Unna adicha avaluku kovam varuthu paaru...

    during the ponnu-kidnapping scene...
    Jyo: Vandiya thiruppu!
Vivek: Nee um nu oru vaartha sollu, vandi enna, en vaazhkaye un pakkam thirupparen.
Maddy:Inga paaru ma, maaple OdippOnA, idhO indha Jim (Vivek) maadhiri yArayAvadhu pudichu katti vachuruvaanga!
    Vivek: (excitedly)nijamAvA solre neeyi!
The way he holds the steering wheel and drives in that scene :rotfl
And his version of Vaseegara... "Vaseegari, yen meenukkellam, naan scent-u potten, thoonginal podhum":biglaugh

Sadly that Vivek is missing from the scene for sometime now. Gone were his spontaneous funny remarks. Now he seems to be happy playing meek comedy roles, which includes dressing like a lady and uttering Saroja Devi's old dialogues...:rant

More of Vivek's comedy scenes. Just remembered his trademark comedy dialogues in Budget Pathmanabhan

Manivannan (Prabhu's brother in law) arrives at Prabhu's place with his wife Kovai Sarala and son...

Vivek: Yaar intha crowd?.. (Pointing at Manivannan's fat kid) Yaar ithu? Beero-vukku thuni pOtta mathiri..
Prabhu: (At the boy) Dei vaada Thirupathisamy!
Vivek: Thirupathi saamy-ah? Thirupathi malai-nu vechirukalam..
    Manivannan: Vayira korai-na kekkuriyada!
Vivek: (Pointing at Prabhu & the fat kid) Rendu perula yaara solreenga?

Vivek greeting Manivannan and kid at the dining table...

    Vivek: hi luggage, hi baggage
    Manivannan: poda drainage..Harhar

And after finding out that Manivannan and kid have been hiding out the non-veg items under their banana leaves...

Vivek: Aaha! Ennagada ithu? Odaradhu, nadakkardhu, parakkaradhu, oorradhu...
Manivanan: (pointing at the egg) Appo ithu?
Vivek: Adhu odaradhu podaradhu :biglaughAiyo, elaikku adiyila oru mini muniyaandi vilas-e irukkE!

    Sofea,

Thank you for taking time to type these dialogues!! Loved reading it. Seemed like I was watching these scenes all over again. I do agree..Vivek's "clean" comedy have been replaced with clown act. Times are changing..i guess.

"Innikki setha naalaikku paal" from pudhu pudhu arthangal still has me rolling on the floor.

    Sakshi..:)
