    Hello Vidhya,

Try to contact Deepa(Dubbi). You can see her threads in labor and delivery section. She gives very useful tips and proper guidelines.
I also received good feedback regarding Dwi Maternity Studio in Alwarpet. A woman by name Rakhi conducts the session and I have heard that it is very useful.
    Check it out.

    Cheers
    Uma

    Re: Easwari Nursing Home -Perambur

    hi dear,

My dd born in eashwari nursing home, which is in periyar nagar. Do u mention the same? Doctor is Dr. Kamaleshwari, right?

Mine is also ceaserean only, but my elder sister in 1991, normal delivery only. Mine was in 1998. After 20 days, my younger sister gave birth to her daughter by a normal delivery.

But actually, in my case, dr waited for 20 days for a normal delivery.

Date given was actually mar 8, but till mar 28, i didnt had any pain, i was very much normal. so on mar 28, she gave me some medicine for the pain to be induced. but even then, i was too cool.

so finally, she had gone for ceaserean. In my case, she didnt give me injection for anesthesia (which has to be put in spinal cord). that will lead to long lasting back pain till our life time. she gave me only general anesthesia. Both myself and my kid were very much fine.

But i dont know any present details.

so this much only, i can give you information reg eashwari nursing home.

    All the best

    Latha

    Need help on doctor consultation

    Hi friends,

I am now 13 weeks pregnant. I am planning to travel to India when I will be 20 weeks. I am planning to work in Chennai for 3 months and then take maternity leave and go to my mom's place for delivery.

So when I am in India I will be in my second trimester. How many doctor appointments will be there in second and third trimester?

I am planning to work in Chennai till I am 34 weeks. Then I will be going to native for delivery. Pls tell me whether it is safe to consult a new doctor in my native just in 35 weeks? Is that too late to fix a new doctor? Will there be any problem?

I am very confused in planning for doctor consultation in Chennai and in my native. Pls help me.

Re: Need help on doctor consultation

Honestly 35 weeks for a new doctor is too late and moreover I think no doctor will accept new ones when they are 35 weeks, maximum they would accept is in the beginning of 7th month like 27/28 weeks.Till 3rd trimester you will have checkups only monthly once if you dont have any complications like BP,Diabetes from 3rd trimester you will have to see the doctor once in 2 weeks only or alteast many do this.
