Hello IL's What kind of hair care routine you follow. Like oiling hair how many days in a week? Do you shampoo immediately after oiling?how many times do you shampoo in a week.?
I think one of the most helpful things is to experiment and see what works best for you. I used to shampoo daily, but then I kept hearing that it dries out hair and that I should cut back. I gave it a try and it helps. Now, I only shampoo twice a week. I do not oil my hair so I cannot give any feedback on that, but I bet there are resources online that would have tips you could try.
1.Massaging the scalp with little luke warmed hibiscus hair oil 3 times a week. 2. Applying a conditioning hair mask an hour before head bath and rinsing with a herbal mild shampoo twice a week.(every Wednesday and alternate Saturday). 3. Applying henna gloss on alternate Saturdays.
Ammu2886, I am following an Ayurvedic hair care routine which gives best results but these must be done consistently over a period of 3-6 months to reap benefits. 1. Since I had split ends and dry hair a year ago due to vitamin deficiency I used the following hair mask for 3-4 months,it helped condition the hair and repair split ends. Mix 1 egg,2 tsp almond oil,1 tsp olive oil,1 tsp sesame oil and/or mustard oil,1/2 tsp castor oil,4-5 drops of rosemary essential oil to get rid of egg odor (you can use lavender essential oil or peppermint essential oil),1 tsp of honey and 1 tbsp of yogurt (optional),1-2 tbsp of henna powder (optional) to make it into a hair pack.Apply to scalp and hair, wash hair after 45 mins to 1 hour with a mild shampoo.Repeat twice a week. This also promotes hair growth. My hair now looks healthy and is growing well. 2. I am also taking the required vitamin supplements and exercise regularly with healthy food. 3. Currently I am applying coconut milk as a hair mask, wrap head with a cling wrap for an hour and wash with a herbal shampoo. 4. I am also using henna gloss on alternate Saturday’s.
