    Sorry didnt introduce myself.
I too will be undergoing IUI in few days. One dominant follicle of 22*22 in RO. Got the shot, waiting for rupture. (I always rupture late :(. Just hoping that it doesnt fall on Sunday because all the clinics are closed on Sunday.

IUI is done around 36 hours post HCG,they may wait if you indeed have that rupture problem. But why you should worry if its a Sunday or a holiday. Its the clinic's work. They can't cancel ur IUI just because you are ovulating on Sunday. Have a word with ur doctor abt whether they wil do IUI on sunday!! They should ideally..

Hope this is the golden egg and u get the bfp soon..tc

Some ppl respond well to injections compared to tablets. Doctors might have a better control with injections. Follicles growth might be slow and gradual but few ppl produce less eggs compared to tablets, it might be of better quality. But its costly compared to tablets. Before running to ivf, its better choice. All the best.

Follicle size is good. Hope you have good endo thickness too. If in case Sunday troubles, try to have ic on sat to ensure you cover up the days.
Some docs carefully avoid Sunday procedures by timing hcg shot.

Baby dust to all TTC ladies.

    Hi,
Ovulation timing during medicated cycle differs than our normal cycle. I ovulated earlier than my normal time. Yes more scan might me required if your follicles have not grown to the trigger size.

Ovulation cannot be postponed in IUI since even if trigger is delayed, your follicles might become over mature or u might even ovulate on your own if let for few days or even a day. So that is why they have to give hcg trigger when follicle reaches a particular size.

Also, Expect some variance in your schedule, your follicle might be ready on CD10 or even may take few more days.So no one can tell for sure until u reach ur scan date abt any of ur scan, procedure being on a holiday.
Normally OPDs are closed on holidays and Sundays. But scans for IUI,IVF, and their procedures are made available by the doctor.
I faced this during my IVF and IUI.. Doctor made sure some1 was available fr the scan on a holiday.. So don't worry!!

All the best to your medicated cycle.
From CD 10 your doc will start the follicular study and time the hCG shot based on the follicle growth. Doc can try to time the ovulation time, but its not that easy if there is series of holidays. Lets hope doc can handle the ovulation time.
Eat protein rich food as it helps in follicle growth. Rest well post ovulation.

    Hi laks82,

Good luck for your fresh cycle.
In that case you can start the follicular scan from d9 and then d11. bcoz as you mentioned u used to ovalute in b/w d12 to d14 naturally, to delay it by 1day is not a good idea with medicated cycle.

Lots of baby dust to you, I pray u will get success in this cycle.
    Tc

    Hi,

I have done HPT on 17dpiui and got negative and next day I got AF. My last cycle was 26 days and this one was 32 day... so I was hopeful.
Moved to next cycle... it will be third and last one. I dont know what will happen... very disappointed and confused

@Neeti114 - Sorry its a bfn :( .. Please Dnt give up hope yet.. This could be ur lucky cycle.. Also, make a backup plan along with ur hubby.. Like what is the next step, if I'vf is the next step or another iui..Having a doable backup plan always helps, because then u won't be pressurized.
May I know the what is the reason u r doing IUI, unexplained or male factor? Have u gone through lap?

For agony in the same thread, it worked the third time.. Don't worry..Keep praying.. Soon u will get a bfp dear
