    Dear Deepi ,

I don't follow any strict rules dear . I have pooja room in my kitchen.
i just clean the ashes from the previous day incense stick ,remove the old flower and offer new flower .

I lit dheepam and incense stick both in the morning and evening. As am working I do my chanting of slogas along with my morning cooking . but I make a point to sit Atleast for few minutes infront of god and pray . But my evening pooja takes more than 30 minutes (after work).

I clean the pooja room and wash the lamps etcetc only on Thursday . To me clean mind and heart is more important when you do pooja . Rest is up to every ones convenience .

Like luckwaves, I don't follow strict rules... I just remove the old candle and lit a new candle, I don't put flowers everyday as I don' take head bath everyday I don't feel to touch the photos..... then do chanting some mantra.....if that is also not possible sometime then while getting ready after bath I chant the mantra but I make sure to sit few min in the puja room. I used to lit candle in the evening also but since I have a baby it's not always possible to concentrate....so stopped the evening time puja...

on fridays I take head bath and I clean photos....put chandan and sindur, fresh flowers....

I wish I can do everyday clean .... and spend some more time.

I usually bath in morning , may be once in 3 days. Whenever I head bath, I lit light and chant slokas. Other days I just chant slokas.
