Dear friends, I am a newly married woman. Both me and my husband are working as s/w engineers. We can save up to 20K per month now. Can you plz tel me some good savings scheme for us to invest as I am not aware of all these things. :bonk We are planning to buy a house/land in another 2 years. before that we have to save some amount for down payment. As of now, we don't pay for any of the Insurance policies (coz all that are taken care by our parents and now we want to save something by ourselves :hide. Any tips on investments would be really helpful for me. :bowdown I am really interested to learn and save for our future. Thanks!

Hi, You can save money by opening Fixed deposit (rate of interest varies depending upon the period), Recurring deposit. These are the ways i am currently following. You can also invest in gold. Hope my idea will be of little use to you. Regards, Priya
Hi Deepa, You need to decide your goals and invest accordingly. You should not invest in any saving scheme but make a scheme for yourself out of the various products available in the market. Let me know if you need more information or help in goal setting and putting a value against your goal. For insurance you need to buy proper cover for you and your husband for protecting your goals in case of untimely death or medical situation. hi dear, i will surely tell u to invest in gold.keep on buying even small amnts of gold n dont go for jewellery go for buiscuits or bars.now even some financing companies keep your gold in safe with them n give you loan.this way you will get money for your purpose. you will hv your gold safe which u can get back on repayment n you will not have to bear extra cost of hiring a locker to keep your gold in safe hands. do keep some of your savings in savings account as in need for emergency.choose a bank after chking the saving account interest being provided by them coz now banks can set their saving bank account % also as we see in fixed deposit.so choose a bank with higest %.
