Apple Therapy

Not many of us know this, but apples are a great way of treating dandruff. Apples are acidic and contain enzymes which help in removing dead skin cells. You can grate half an apple and apply its juice on the scalp. Leave for 10 minutes before washing off.

Vinegar Action

Rich in potassium and enzymes, vinegar has proven to be extremely effective in controlling dandruff. Massage the solution into your scalp before shampooing to eliminate dead cells. Mixing it with rosemary oil and rubbing it onto the scalp also works wonders. Alternately, you can also use a final vinegar wash after you’ve shampooed your hair.

Keep Scalp Clean

Remember, the most important aspect of fighting dandruff is to keep the scalp clean and well nourished. I hope you try these simple remedies at home this winter and wash your hands off your dandruff problems once and for all.
