I would thihnk that oat pancakes would be nice for breakfast. Soak the quick oats in buttermilk for couple hours and then add to other ingredients like little flour, baking powder, little salt, and I think some green chillies and dhania leaves and little chili powder might be nice. Any ideas for spicing these pancakes?

    Ladies,

I must say and agree that parents are a role model for their kids and that holds true even in case of oats:). For the last 2 days my 4 yr old son has decided that he will eat oats mixed with curd instead not curd rice and he absolutely loves it. :thumbsup

Ladies, you should give Kellogs Oat Bites a try. They are same as the morning cereals, to be had with milk. Square and absolutely yummy n filling!!!:thumbsup
I even make myself some boost or horlicks and add some oat bites to it like marsh mellow floats during the evenings so that I don't munch on anything else..

I tried Oats bahalabath this weekend. It was super yummy. Very nice alternative to usual oats porridge. I cannot say how thankful I am to chitra mam for sharing this recipe.

Uma, what kind of oats do you use for this recipe? Quick oats or the steel cut ones that take very long to cook?

    Hi,

I have oats porridge for breakfast on weekdays. I add 2 or 3 strands of saffron, 2 spoons of wheatgerm and a handful of mixed dried fruits. This is very nutritious and keeps you going all day....

    dears,

this is how i take my oats :-

    1) Oats + Corn Flakes with low fat milk or soya bean.. taste really good
    my perfect breakfast !

    2) Oats + vegetable soup then blend it.... it will be like cream...
normally do this for my dinner... it's very filling and taste good !
