My DD is 2 1/2 years old now. She started talking late but now trying to say many words. She likes reading the names of vegetables, fruits, animals and vehicles and repeats them. She keeps saying Papaya many times.

mango - maa maa
hippopotamus - hippopopopopus
alligator - aigor
sun - sin
dog - gog
pineapple - pinepine
carrot - caavaa
capsicum - cumcum
idly - igly
fire engine - thaalelo (I don't know how fire engine transformed to thalelo :rotfl)
garlic - gaaki

Seeing latest Diwali advertisements on TV, she says these:

Malabar Gold of Diamonds - Mabarbar

 

Our angel is 2 years and 2 months old now. Whenever she refuses to eat and says "venaam"(No) I used to tell "venaam solla koodadhu"(Don't say no). One day she was forcing me to eat a biscuit(because madam don't wanted to eat it :-D) I said "Venaam" instantly she replied back "Veenaam solla kooladhu". Kids are very intelligent nowadays.
