Your thoughts on gender equality? Help other women

Hello,

Thank you for this lovely website! I look forward to reading more about all the news and updates and discussions. I am all about raising issues about women as well as promoting gender equality, the world faces a new war and it is a war on women. I never knew that there was such a thing before and I am now working towards creating change. I would like to know your thoughts on gender equality, what it is like to be a woman in India, because these are the topics that interest me very much.

I was also wondering if you could spread the word about a campaign I am involved in, something you may be interested in. My friend (who introduced me to this big problem about the oppression of women) is involved in a project based around empowering women, raising awareness and promoting gender equality. They are trying to make a difference.
