Me too. Tried it a few times and gave up. Gave away some fancy bread-maker that I'd got as a gift. Aah the full sink. And then the fight whether rinsing is necessary or not. Fun fun fun.
That reminded me... I wish for a kitchen that has a door like in India. This open kitchen, flowing into the dining area, and even family room.... never liked it. Kitchen should be a room by itself, not an "area." Making that dream dreamier... for me it'd be not having to deal with the cook. Step out of the house, and come back to a cooked meal(s). Looking at the contents of the fridge's crisper and deciding... more time goes in that for me. : )
I want more counter space with exhaust fans on top of it. And more windows! And a door with noise proofing edging around it (to keep the cooking smells away from rest of the house). I didn't even know that exists. : ) Still very proud of the humble Misto Olive Oil spray I got after you suggested. LOL. : )
That link is to the main website. Any particular recipe in that good for beginners? What redevelopment? That reminds me of my family when they saw my kitchen, "what... everything ...in cabinets!!!" I pointed out that at least oil can was not in cabinet. : ) I also get recipes from youtube, but prefer print recipes. Youtube have to keep pausing, rewinding. I've been having dosa all this week. : )
@Rihana The basic recipe is a good starting point. If you google "no knead artisan bread in 5 minutes a day" there is a recipe on the Gold Medal flour website.
Yeah ‘windows’ in kitchen like in India! My parents’ home(or MY home ) has two sets of windows opening from kitchen and the ones above the stove has beautiful view in the morning of rising sun! The energy it provides to those inside the kitchen is priceless.. here I immensely miss such kindof windows and those views.
Look what I found: Stove Burners That Hang on the Wall When You Don't Need Them - Core77 Between the IP and sheet pan, my stove sees less use than it used to. And I love the idea of bare, clean counters. .
Oh wow!! love that sleek kitchen look. My dream kitchen is that open kitchen with nothing on the counter top and all the gadgets in built; with nothing jutting out in sophisticated mute colors and textures! R u guys on the home improvement or renovation mode! I used to collect and drool on all such kitchen images when getting it made. Hope the dream thread is ok with some non practical design wishes for aesthetics sake
