my favourite god is KRISHNA.
I am lucky to have my husband name assoicated with krishna.
I adorn krishna, Lord krihna is loved by all and no god has so much love and affection to us. He is only god who saved the woman in distress. I wish that my husband should be like krishna( I love him as Radha ) and like Rama ( the qualities of desciplined life)
I happy to tell that my husand has fulfiled my desire to the posible extnent taking into considering the presnet day condtion.

I am a new member. I was just browsing thru all the threads and came to this. Hence thought I will also share my views:

My favourite temple is in Bangalore (Where I live) It is called the Jnanakshi Sri Raja Rajeshwari Temple. I have been going to this temple from my childhood and the one place where I forget to go home. Tears start flowing automatically Even if I think of the temple and the Devi there are goosebumps.

It has happened that while I was carrying my parents had given for a abhishekam and spl.puja but I could not partake due to doctor's instructions. But the same night, devi came in my dreams with the same saree my mother had given. Also I had plans to give a saree to devi, again she came in my dreams with a green color saree with maroon border . When I went to buy the saree only this colour was available. After it was adorned to the Devi I was speechless as devi had given darshan to me in the same way.

Glory to Her ! Iam attaching a photo of her for our friends here. This is a golden kavacham adorned during Navarathri.

My favourite temple and god is
TIRUPATI- Lord Venkateshwara,
SIDDIVINAYAKA TEMPLE (Mumbai)- Lord Ganesha,
SHIRDI- Sai Baba.
And one more we are havin our own temple in our native place Warangal, AP, that is Lord Anjaneya Temple and Lord Anjaneya also my favourite god.

When I was in India I used to go these temples. Now I cant.

I happened to see this thread just now, The photo of Rajrajeshwari is so divine and calm. I used to visit these Temple when i was back there in Bangalore, it used to give me utmost satisfaction spl during Navarthri. Though it was very far for us we used to go in every 2 month atleast.

My favorite temple is the Vaidya Veeraraghavar temple at Thiruvalloor.

Many people go there when they are ill. But for the long distance, I would definitely go there more often.

To me - just a look at that reclining deity with that big Namam overwhelms me and I stand there transfixed.

I am at peace everytime I return back from that temple.

and all others also............i do severe prayers and chat slokas daily..i blindly beleive in GOD...............so i cant restict myself to anyparticular GOD............

In my childhood .my father used to take us..only to temples...so whole south india i hav visited almost all the temples......but my hubby and his family jus opp....so for this past 10 yrs..i hav visitied even my kuladivam temple jus 3 times...........yearning to visit them every end..but iam helpless..............
