I think due to my mil's obsession with 'rajasthani gargara cholis' i'm scard for life about gargara cholis :rotfl. Thanks, but I'll stick to western dress or sari. In fact sari is what I wore for my wedding, no regrets!

Yeah ASG, GIJoe has been very eager to get me in Gagra choli past couple of days LOL I kind of like it it may look too exotic for everyday use I suspect.

Thanks True. I like simple sarees, just like in real life... I like simple clothes but with good cut and color. My wedding saree is so simple... no sequins, no beads, no embroidery, just a light weight red and white colored saree with some shiney gold pattern on the pallu. Even though my mil tsked tsked about it and spoke about my dh's ex wife's grand "most expensive in the store wedding lengha", my dh loves my wedding saree sooooooo much and says it is "perfect". I still remember when I tried on my whole outfit in advance to show him "my wedding look" wearing matching bangles and everything, his words after that were " :wow:wow". Guess you will just have to imagine what came next.

So, there are my reasons for why saree is perfect party dress. Even where there is no party, saree can start one. :rotfl

I'm really laughing now, this is getting too funny. :rotfl

You know, I already know what I will do for next anniversary. I'm going to make a nice dinner and recreate my bridal outfit. Want to know something really weird? I bought shoes to go with the outfit and after wearing them on my wedding day, I took them off and kept them in a box, and I still have them totally in tact, never worn again. Same with my bangles and jewelery. Even thought it's all imitation jewels, I have kept them tucked away all put together in the same box. It's like king tut's hidden treasure just waiting to be resurected. :biglaugh

AWESOME. You will then have to ask us to again imagine what happened afterwards. :)

It has to be exotic because it is a party dress.
