Your favorite party dress

Saree Saree Saree...i just love to wear Sarees for any party (Indian parties though) and I am quite comfortable actually..salwar kameez makes me more uncomfortable LOL......I like the Georgette simple designer kinds saree to wear...not heavy heavy stuff...

 

I don't like Salwar Kamiz. It is too conservative and does not do any justice to a woman's body and nor does it accentuate the body. I can see how it can be comfortable to wear one but I wouldn't want to LOL

 

You can cover as much you want or as little; it is a personal preference. Try it and let us know if you like it.

 

Yep, its the same with most Indian dresses. Look at movies to see how the Indian dress can be customized to cover up or reveal. You can choose it the way you want. There is one jannal-blouse (windowed blouse thats got windows on the backside) for crying out lout *laughter*

 

I like the one in the second picture but the colours could be a little less flashy. First one looks ok as well. Yeah I know you can wear the Sari anyway you want and the very few times I have worn one, I've worn it to my liking and you can definitely look sexy in a sari. That gagra thing looks good too.

 

I can officially claim that I can be a convincing salesman, I just sold gagra choli to Mal (tough customer). I thought you liked attention, flashy things always attract attention.

 

LOL but I don't want to look like a bollywood extra in a song and dance sequence. I don't like flashy clothes. What made you think that? I like clothes that accentuate your body, not necessarily in flashy colours. I do have some sarongs which are tropical prints but sarong is different.

 

Come on mal, I will never compare you to the bollywood extras, so when are we going to see you in Gagra Choli?

My fav party dress would be western formal cocktail dresses.
Normally I wear them with a suit covering the arms- (Since I am a great disliker of Sleevless stuff:rant)
I also wear traditional Indian (salwars) but very rarely. (Sarees are yet to be worn- but I guess maybe after marriage:hide
