    Dear Saras,
thanks. Will surely pay a visit now and then. Right now, I am a little overwhelmed and am lagging behind in all my writing, fb and office commitments.
    Will surely do that.

    Dear Viji,
You are right. Normally when we praise others we don't strictly judge them. Even if the praise is false it does not do any harm. On the other hand even if the negative comments are true, it does substantial harm. That's the whole point in the blog.

thanks for the nice words, Vijee.

    Dear Smiley,
As we go out in the world everybody is judging us. The bus conductor, the lady who travels with us, our boss, our colleague and even the bearer in the canteen. Unless we have a clear view about ourselves and also an equally clear view about this self-styled judges, our life will be in a big mess.
    thanks for coming in, Smiley.
    love,
    sridhar

No, Bhargavi. There is a small change. When the ruler is not capable, now that we know the measurements of our table, we will use the table to measure the ruler. Next time the ruler makes another measurement we can say with confidence. "Hey, ruler you are nuts. You can't measure anything."
thanks for coming in and thanks for the kind words.

    Dear Akila,
It is only when I read comments like yours that I become really happy, convinced that the long hours I have spent alone before the system, earning the wrath of my family, was after all not wasted. Tomorrow if somebody were to tell me, "what the hell did you do with your writing skills? Did your book sell in millions or did you win some Award?"
I can tell them, "Well I did even better. My writing had a calming effect on a good woman's heart."
That's the effect of your fb.
    regards,
    sridhar

Be a ruler but on the positive side..... my mom taught me so, but with the passing time I shifted my ruler other way..though still not saying it out aloud.
Then I stayed with mom again for a long time and knew how I had allowed the sands of time to grain my ruler.
Again she came to my help, making me realise that if others won't change their rulers for us, why should we.

If others don't change their (negative) habits, why should we cange our (positive) habits. If we do then we must have been the weaker of the two.

This was in addition to your train of thought.
