    Yes ,In fact she first wanted to make it as a layout artiste in press when she came to Chennai.

    She met the editor of a Mag. with her sketch and he asked her to write a story to match the sketch.

    That is how she came into writing.(this info is from her own narration abt her life and career.)

    We are going to miss her columns.

    Hello ILites,

    I join you in the grieving of the sad demise of the great writer
    Anuradha ramanan. She is a great writer and a good humanbeing too.
    My Mom is great fan of her and i too love her works. She had a very good sense of humour in her writings which was very rare. A salute for the great lady who had fought a great battle in her personal life and her diseases.:bowdown

    I like her very much... she is a very elegant and bold personality. she had overcomed several formalities with such boldness on her earlier days itself. She has the spirit... I saw the movie "Oru veedu iru vaasal" by KB. Later only i came to know its a novel of Anuradha mam. Such a fantastic lady who narrates the second side of women's also.

    Its a sad news to all... May her soul rest in peace!!!:cry: :cry: :cry:

    Her writing always used to be based on women empowerment... it was very condradict when the Kanchi issue was on air...and then it vanished...

    I always wonder how powerful woman she was!..

    I used to always take a pile of her books each time i visited the library ....

    She was a very very talented person.

    feeling sad to hear the news that she is no more....
