Hi Ladies, This is the first time I am posting in this forum and I am doing this to help my friend. My friend loves to stitch and creates beautiful, useful items from small pieces of cloth. The other day, I saw a piece she had made - a small, decorated cloth pouch - the exact size for a couple of sanitary napkins! It can be used a small handbag also, but is ideal for carrying a couple of napkins in a regular size handbag! This is something I would love to have for those difficult days when you need to carry extra protection when you go out! I was telling her that a lot of ladies would love to have something like this.... I mean, a beautiful looking pouch that gives no hint of what is inside!!! Imagine what a boon it will be if there was no need to furtively take out what we need in a public place! What do you think? Do you think she can utilize this talent that she has and make some money for herself?
winpie, i am sure there is a market for that. infact my daughter has a crocheted lacy pouch that does not give a clue that pads could be in. a pouch she can just pick out of her school bag and take it in the open without feeling embarassed amidst her classmates.
