    Hello Girls,

Well, another post on movies. Which movie according to you is the worst adaptation of a literary piece? I don’t think you will have to think much on this topic as there are plenty of examples of worst movie adaptation.
You all just start with your list…it can be Hollywood, Bollywood and Tollywood.

    Shreya

For me the worst movie adaptation from a literary piece would be ‘Devdas’, the one directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. It was pathetic. I have seen many literary pieces which have been poorly made in movies, but this one stands apart from the rest.:eek Everything was a below standard except for the acting of Madhuri Dixit as Chandramukhi.
Jackie Shroff was at his worst, I dint notice any good of Aishwarya, and the least said about Shahrukh as Devdas, the better.
Between, the scene when Paro meets Chandramukhi was shocking and their dancing was very hilarious.
The headache of all the characters was Kiran Kher. Total Waste!!!

    Anyways, share yours as well…

    Good luck,

    Teesta
