Worried mother

    Dear teacher,

    Yes you are right about my mum.
    Before she used to compare me with her nieces etc now my son is also her victim. She will tell my son he doesn't know anything, if others try to compare him with other kids she will be the first to join and give the most unpleasant comments rather than protecting him.

    I'm just waiting for the next appointment in 3 weeks time. Will talk to the Pead. Hopefully there's some improvement by then. Thanks.

    My daughter is going to be 18 months old by end of August...she only blabbers....I have a neighbor whose son is about 2 years and 2 months...he can't even talk as much as my daughter....so please each kid has his/ her own pace in developing...do not expect ur child to do everything u teach...they will observe it and do it later on...the more u try to teach or pressurize, the more they will resist....just let him be....and please ignore others....every one has their opinion...we should just turn a deaf ear...
